HIGH PERFORMANCE IN ENERGY RECOVERY FROM WASTE
Currently, more than 50% of municipal solid waste (MSW) ends up buried in landfills. This level is much higher in developing countries or emerging economies, where it be as much as 90%. Nowadays, in the best of cases the organic fraction that we put in landfill is bio-stabilised in order to reduce its pollution but, in the end, it is buried without giving it any alternative use, and without re-introducing it into the economic cycle.
Municipal solid waste (MSW) can be converted into dry matter with a high calorific value, prepared to act as solid recovered fuel (SRF). The organic fraction is still, despite everything, about 50% of all municipal solid waste generated. It is here where Masias Recycling has focused its efforts in developing a technology capable of transforming tonnes of waste into SRF with a high calorific value.
A large volume of resources remain buried and a great proportion of industry needs to generate huge amounts of energy. We can provide complete solutions through CoverTech to cope with this situation without having to continue consuming fossil resources. Is all the material being buried in landfills actually without any value? We are convinced that it does have value and are committed to it through biodrying.
Masias Recycling is a multinational company that specialises in the manufacturing of solid waste treatment equipment and plants. We have been developing, planning and installing “turn-key” waste treatment plants for more than 20 years, anywhere in the world, and we are leaders in the manufacturing of equipment for the industry.
We make our expertise in engineering, design and manufacturing solutions for waste treatment available to our customers.
We are present in the 5 continents: more than 100 plants, 3,000 international delegations and representations in France, United Kingdom, Turkey, Portugal, the Middle East, Colombia, Greece and Brazil.
